The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee approved Gwynne Wilcox’s nomination to serve another five-year term on the National Labor Relations Board.
The Senate’s top labor panel voted 12-9 Wednesday to advance Wilcox’s nomination to the full Senate. Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska.) offered the sole Republican vote in support of Wilcox.
Wilcox first joined the labor board in August 2021, but her current term expires at the end of next month because of a National Labor Relations Act provision that stipulates nominations for each board seat come up every five years, regardless of when the current occupant filled the ...
