Neither the US Department of Defense nor a federal contractor were legally allowed to alter payment terms for a shipping contract they’d agreed upon before services were rendered, the US Court of Federal Claims ruled.
Platinum Services Inc. sued seeking payment for transporting about 2,500 shipments of service members’ household goods for the DOD between 2016-2018, the court said.
