Two Black men are seeking to drop their race discrimination claims against Lear Corp. after their attorney advised them that they likely wouldn’t succeed against the company’s motion for summary judgments and may not win at trial.
Johmell Rivers and Andrew Moore moved to voluntarily dismiss their respective lawsuits in the US District Court for the Northern District of Indiana on Friday. According to their complaints, both men were unfairly disciplined following incidents while they were operating forklifts at Lear’s plant in Columbia City, Indiana
