Healthy Gulf and the Sierra Club challenged the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s approval of pipelines intended to supply gas to an export facility in Southwest Louisiana.
The groups filed a petition for review of a certificate FERC granted Driftwood Pipeline LLC to build two new interstate natural gas pipelines in Beauregard and Calcasieu Parishes, La. The petition was filed Aug. 18 in the US Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
