Guatemala’s low tax collection as a percentage of GDP can only be addressed with a fiscal reform, S&P director and lead analyst Omar De la Torre said in an interview on Friday.
- “The level of tax collection in Guatemala is one of the lowest in the region. You need to add more revenues, so a fiscal reform that improves the tax collection amount would be an important positive action,” he said
