Case: Trademarks/Registration (T.T.A.B.)

The Trademark Trial and Appeal Board affirmed an examining attorney’s refusal to register the mark “church boy to millionaire” for books. According to the board, because the use of the proposed mark was shown in connection with only a single book, the examining attorney properly found, based on the specimen of record, that the proposed mark isn’t eligible for registration for the goods identified in the application.
